Sustainable Transportation in Brussels
Welcome to Brussels, a city that seamlessly blends urban sophistication with sustainability! As part of our commitment to eco-friendly travel, we encourage our guests to explore the city using alternative, sustainable transportation options. Whether you prefer public transit, cycling, or car-sharing, Brussels offers a range of convenient and environmentally conscious ways to get around.
Metro & Tram Access

This means you can hop on a metro or tram and reach virtually any part of Brussels quickly—from the European Quarter to the trendy Louise Avenue shopping district, all without transfers.
Train Travel
-
Brussels Central Station: Located just 1.5 km away (an 18-minute walk), Central Station connects you to other Belgian cities such as Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp, and offers direct train access to Brussels Airport. You can also reach it in just 5 minutes by metro from Botanique (two stops), making day trips effortless.
-
Brussels Midi (South) Station: Traveling to Paris, London, or Amsterdam? The Eurostar and Thalys terminal at Midi is just a 10-minute metro ride from the hotel. Botanique station’s metro line 2/6 goes direct to Midi in 7 stops, ensuring a smooth and quick journey for catching international trains or the airport shuttle.

Key Destinations
Brussels Zaventem Airport
To reach the main airport of Brussels, one of the fastest ways is to take a train from Brussels North Station, which is about 10-15 minutes from our hotel. The train ride itself will take around 11-15 minutes.
Alternatively, you can catch the shuttlebus number R26 from the Sint-Joost-ten-Node stop near the Botanique Garden and the metro station. This trip will take around 55 minutes to an hour depending on the traffic.
Brussels South Charleroi Airport
The Charleroi Airport is located on the south end of the Brussels region. The trip takes around an hour, even by car. From our hotel, you can take either Metro number 2 or 6 until you reach the Gare du Midi stop, which is next to Midi Train Station. From there, you may get on a train to go to Charleroi directly, but from there it will take quite some time to reach the airport on foot.
Apart from taking a train from Brussels Midi station, there are dedicated shuttle buses found near both Zaventem Airport and Midi station itself. These shuttles provide an easy way to reach Charleroi, as they drop you off right at the gate. The price of one ticket is around 19-24€. This is the most effective way to reach the airport using public transportation.
Brussels North Station
This is the closest Train Station to our hotel, located a mere 9 minutes away on foot.
If needed, taking a bus is also a possibility from the bus stop Kruidtuin. Shuttlebus R26 is available and will get you to your destination within about 15 minutes.
Brussels Central Station
The second closest Train Station, located about 20 minutes by foot from our hotel. One could use Tram number 92 or 93 from the nearby Gillon station to go to the Parc stop and finish the rest of the way on foot. The walk from Parc station is around 6 minutes.
Brussels Midi/South Station
Midi Train Station is very conveniently located along the lines of both Metro number 2 and 6. From the nearby Botanique stop, one could easily go to Gare du Midi in a mere 14 minutes.
